You repeat that canard frequently, but repetition doesn't make it true. You assume what you need to prove: that the New Testament church is not still here with us and needs to be reinvented by reverse-engineering it from the Scriptures.
Any Catholic or Orthodox Christian who knows his faith recognizes that assumption for what it is, and rejects it immediately.

ENTIRE church (Catholic, right?) sent out a letter to some folks that were being confused by statements made by those not in power.
It can be found in ACTS 15.
Surely it is the nub of all Catholic teachings.
And those seven churches mentioned by the angel in Revelation were ALL Catholic ones as well.
They are fine examples of how well Catholic teachers got the theology right.
