Ask yourself, can the Spirit of Holy God abide where sin can enter? AnswerL: no, God will niot lend His Spirit to sin. So there is a way that the Holy God CAN abide in the boirn again, by separating the soul and spiriut so He abides in the cleansed spirit, not in the sin learned soul or behavior mechanism. God fashioned Adam to be able to follow the leadership of the psirit, directing the behavior mechanism, the soul. But Adam chose to allow sin into his spirit so the glory of God departed from 'upon' Adam (not IN Adam just upon Adam, like the glory was upon Moses but not in Moses, so the glory shine gradually faded away), and eventually God's provision was to put His Spirit IN the spirit of those who want His family nature. That is why we call this the Age of Grace, because ONLY by God's Grace can we have God's Spirit IN our spirit, never by works that we do or not do.
