Apparently it did on Miss Ellen, for she took it off the list of proper things to consume ... along with preserves, which I really have a problem with. Don’t touch my coffee or my preserves!

I want my coffee, yeast biscuits, butter and preserves. She just crossed a line here that is absolutely unacceptable. And eggs? I knew that would be included before I ever got to it!
It’s beginning to appear that Miss Ellen was turned on by almost every food ... and yet, she was a very “hefty” woman. Don’t know how because it looks like her diet consisted of grass, rice and air.

Cows, hippos, elephants, etc.are all vegetarians and they aren’t skinny…
This is true, AMPU. But they have to ingest a heckuva lot every day to get that way. I can’t see eating 5 bowls of rice and a cup of seaweed every day. I don’t think she stuck to her own advice, and would bet she enjoyed bacon like we do.
Well, we already know she didn’t obey her own commands for pork and oysters, so.
Mmm hmm. With all the left over money her parishioners gained by not buying meat, etc., they were probably able to tithe well which would mean she had more at her disposal for groceries. Lucky her.
Well, it was reported she sucked oysters, was seen eating pork chops, etc.!
Yup. And apparently we outsiders know more about her than the members of the SDA organization. At least one of them anyway.
