Well, it would be a wonderful thing if it happens as you say it will. But unfortunately, due to life’s observations and past experiences.. I have become something of a pessimist.
I would feel optimistic about the future...if only the Bible actually stated that there would be a pre-trib rapture of we non-Jewish Christians. I haven’t found that assurance anywhere and trust me, I’ve looked.
I have several family members that fervently believe in this pre-trib rapture. My biggest fear is that if/when that rescue rapture doesn’t happen and they start to have to suffer....they might lose their faith and end up ‘not saved’.
I shell attempt to think more positively. We Christians are all on Team Jesus and yes, if it happens as you say it will,
see you in the clouds! God bless.
Many share that fear.
I am a OSAS person. I have reached the stage if Bible studies where I have absolutely no doubts that a perwson once born again is in God’s hands and not even that person can wriggle out from His grasp. What Grace is it that would be given knowing that one would eventually do something God did not foresee so He would let go of them? No, God sees the end from the beginning and He doesn’t leave me to have to earn the retention of His Grace. The miraculous reality is that He is taking responsibility for my redemption, not requiring me to achieve what I obviously could not before I believed. I am heaven bound because of what HE did, not what I may or may not do.
“My biggest fear is that if/when that rescue rapture doesn’t happen and they start to have to suffer....they might lose their faith and end up ‘not saved’.”
Never fear, God will be with you and your family.
Think of the recent 20 Coptic Christians whose necks were sliced but they did not give up God. Or Asia Bibi in Pakistan who refused converting to Islam to save herself.
You and your family will come through.
Psalm 22
24
For he has not despised or disdained the suffering of the afflicted one; he has not hidden his face from him but has listened to his cry for help.
25
From you comes the theme of my praise in the great assembly; before those who fear you [5] will I fulfill my vows.
26
The poor will eat and be satisfied; they who seek the LORD will praise him— may your hearts live forever!
27
All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the LORD, and all the families of the nations will bow down before him,
28
for dominion belongs to the LORD and he rules over the nations.
And psalm 23
23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake
