Beside Tissot and Dore’, I like very much #22 by Grellet, a French painter of late 19th century. The prophecy of Deborah, that Sisera’s end will be “by the hand of a woman” is thus fulfilled. It took a lot of “sang froid” for Jael to kill Sisera that way.
