A baptism is an act of faith performed by an individual to signify the death of their old life of sin and rebirth into a new life of relationship with God. It is the physical manifestation of the term "born again". Where it happens, who assists, and what is said, is irrelevant. These idiots always think it is all about THEM and yet none of it is about them. It is about developing a personal relationship with God. . They are simply servants but they think they are demi-Gods.

Imagine, at some future time during the great judgment in Heaven. You come before God and Jesus stands by you as your as your advocate, and he is about to say "Father, I know this one, allow him to enter the Gates of Heaven." They think that they will be allowed to interrupt and say .. excuse me, um, yeah, we said the wrong words so you better shoot him to the lake of fire. Sorry.

It does for some. Tradition counts as much as the Bible to some. I don’t understand. I am still learning in my faith. I expect I will die learning in my faith but it seams to me to be Christ, grace faith. But again I am still learning.
