Amen!

Jesus tells us that we must be born again, not join some corrupt religious organization that fancies itself as a church using Jesus as a window dressing.

Do you ever wonder what things would be like today... if your wish for the Church to never have existed would have been granted?
What the state of Christianity would be in today, if it even still existed?

What if, there was NO Church to combat all the heresies that sprung up over the centuries- with no authority to dismiss them?
Would we even recognize Christ the way we can today?
Would we even recognize Christianity as we know it today?

Would there be a coherent Bible Canon even available to us? - or even a single Bible at all? Or would there be 10-15 different Bibles, each containing whatever any religion wanted - and each of those with 20 different translations? With no hope of common ground?

Without the Church- would we have already been a Muslim world for 1300 years by now? Even more, Would a rebellious group have existed to cross the ocean to begin a new land? Would religion even be tolerated in a secular society? Freedom of religion even exist?

I'm just saying, it's been a better world with- rather than without the Church in bringing Christ through the ages.
If, after that, if it is still up for debate - I think for those who despise the Church, need not do anything more than look around at the world today collapsing in on itself - the further away it drifts from the anchoring Christianity has given it to this point.

The journey to where the world is at now, would have been undeniably different.
