In the modern translations (all based upon the corrupt texts of the Vatican) we are confronted with an error from the very first verse of the Bible. The word of God says, “In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth” not the “heavens.”

The heaven that God created in 1:1 was what Paul referred to as the “third heaven”: “I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven” (2 Corinthians 12:2).

This was the abode of God’s throne.

We do not see the sun, moon or stars until verse 14 which comprised the fourth day of creation.

“And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the fourth day” (Genesis 1:14-19).

A thought for future consideration...

The stars actually tell the story of redemption (redemption is greater than creation). That is how God showed Abraham the story of Jesus, his virgin birth and death and resurrection. (This has since been twisted by so-called “astrology”, Satan’s counterfeit.) But it remains that the redemption story is told in the stars.

I don’t know which clusters do what, but I think there are something like twelve star groups that tell the redemption story. That would be a great display if you were able to collect them.

I've never seen so many paintings of the Beginning depicted as a big blast of paint flying every which way from the origin point.

And to think, just last night I had come across an old illustration of the "First 'Paint Mill' in the United States":

This all reminds me of a detail about the artist who created those paint-by-numbers kits:

93? That IS where that first paint mill "zero point" stone of the City on the Hill is located, on Marshall St., above the Big Dig Central Artery (I-93).

Pray about it. Redemption is actually baked into creation. Jesus was crucified "from the foundation of the earth (Revelation 13:8)." Your works could be uses to bless people to know Jesus which has eternal effects.
