It is Rome that generated confusion.
The Book Rome assembled so long ago says ALL have sinned...
Trying to move the goalposts AFTER this was published kinda gives away the game!
Two sinners (Marys parents) got it on and produced Mary (a sinner herself).
She then 'knew no man' when the Holy Spirit overshadowed her.
The Son of GOD took on human flesh (the nasty stuff) and was laid in a manger after being born.
Eight days later a chunk of that flesh was cut off; as it counted for nothing.
Add or subtract from this story at your own peril.
No where in Scripture is Mary given a special exemption..but I know you know that!
Romans 8:10...none are righteous...not even one
Romans 8:23...all have sinned
1 Kings 8:46...there is no one who does not sin
Ecclesiastes 7:20...there is no righteous man on earth who does good and never sins
Romans 3:9....that Jews and Gentiles alike are all under sin
1 John 1:8....if we say we have no sin
2 Chronicles 6:36....if they sin against thee (for there is no man which sinneth not)
Proverbs 20:9....who can say, “I have kept my heart pure; I am cleansed from my sin?”
The Bible only records one sinless person....Christ.
