Are Jews perfect? No.
But they have been blinded and will have their eyes opened at a time of God’s choosing.
The Apostle Paul, a Roman Jew named born as Saul, said Jews will one day have their eyes opened, they will be both sorrowful and at the same time full of joy. This will happen at a time only known by God.
In the interim, non-Jews are to stand ready to help and protect God’s Chosen.

I read this as a decrease in evangelical support for Israel. Am I wrong? I would expect replacement theology to track along with the inroads of “New Calvinism” into formerly Baptist Churches. I am glad to see the SBC fighting back. See soteriology101.com. As former Baptists adopt MacArthurism there is some lag time during which they still hold their former eschatology, but eventually they mostly adopt replacementism.
God chose the Jews for a particular role and made a Covenant with them and through them all the nations of the Earth have been blessed, for by their line God was incarnate. That is the sense in which they are His chosen people. However us gentiles are invited into His kingdom as well. This is nothing new, even in the days of Abraham there were already gentiles who worshipped God, for example Melchizedek King oof Salem was a High Priest of God as well as a King, whom Abram gave ten percent of his wealth to.

It’s the main reason the Left hates Israel, they don’t think of it as a Jewish State, but a concoction of Evangelical Christians.
Jews ARE God’s holy and chosen people. He loves them even though they have rejected him. He’s going to open their eyes someday and they will have the chance to “Look on him whom they have pierced” and turn to him. The Christian church is the ‘bride’ of Christ. We are already adopted into the family, but the Jews are the purebloods of God’s heritage. How I wish I had Jewish lineage in me. It would be such an honor to be a “Jewish Christian” it would be the best of all worlds.

"Replacement theology" isn't liberal . . . it's the traditional chrstian position, which is why "evangelicals" should seriously reconsider their loyalty to such a religion.
What "evangelicals" refuse to even consider is that the ancient church (and I mean pre-Constantine) was simply unable to provide Bibles to the new converts. The "new testament" hadn't yet been completed and it certainly hadn't been canonized. Plus books/scrolls were so very expensive and hard to reproduce. Most chrstians were converted to the church, not to the Bible, so they approach the "old testament" through the lens of the teaching church, which means they have heard that the Jews are "the decide people" long before they've ever seen an "old testament" in any language.
The Revelation at Sinai simply does not allow for the possibility of Jews converting to a new "fulfillment" religion. Meanwhile "Bible chrstians" who have breathed in the Bible (absent the influence of the teaching church) their whole lives are simply more resistant to this hatred.
The Hebrew Bible just ruins a person . . . maybe the churches should de-canonize it! It would at any rate get rid of that problematic Genesis!
