The Lord of the Sabbath made the Sabbath for MAN....
I was reading this exact passage this morning and it brought about a smile - The Lord has a sense of humor shaming the works-based legalists.
Those who love and follow God keep His commandments. Those who don’t, are liars. You willfully break the 4th commandment. John defines you as a liar.
1 John 2:
3And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
