There are many many things this Pope says and does that are indefensible.

Distorting what he says now and again for the purpose of pearl clutching/wrist slashing headlines is equally indefensible- and NO WAY TO THE TRUTH.

There was no "bending over backwards" required in showing how this misleading headline was written to garner eyeballs.

This Pope has an agenda- he is admitting that. And he deserves his criticism like he is freely admitting. He does not seem to care. But he also knows- HE is NOT the Church.
