Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Oh LORD, Our God, How Excellent Is Your Name Over All the Earth!
You Alone Are Worthy of Praise, Honor, Glory and Worship,
For Your Alone Are The One True God!
Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent,
Holy Righteous, and Just,
There is No One Like You!
Our Creator, and Creator of All That Is,
You Are The Great I Am,
And All Of Creation Vibrates With Singing of Your Glory!

1. I will lift up my eyes to the hills—
From whence comes my help?
2. My help comes from the LORD,
Who made heaven and earth.

Our Help Comes From You, Oh LORD!
As we are elevated by Your Holy Word,
One Step at a time,
We are Filled with Joy and Peace knowing that You watch over us!

3. He will not allow your foot to be moved;
He who keeps you will not slumber.
4. Behold, He who keeps Israel
Shall neither slumber nor sleep.

According To Your Word, Oh LORD,
And According To Your Holy Promise,
We Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem,
For Israel,
For Your People,
And For all those who are called by Your Name.

Let All That Has Been Concealed,
Be Revealed.

LORD, We Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem,
According To Your Will and Promise.
We Beseech You on Behalf of Our Captive Brethren,
Christians and Jews,
In Bondage in Hostile lands.

We Pray For Our Beloved USA
We Ask That Your People Receive Wisdom from You
To do the Right Thing.
We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

There is only one real alternative to the Superhighway that goes to my town. It's still a rather busy street, with two busy lanes in each direction and a LOT of businesses along the way. Traffic can sometimes come to a standstill, especially if the Main Route to Cape Cod is congested. I have managed to find a more leisurely bypass that goes through some nice neighborhoods. It adds a few miles to my journey, but, when I am on the motorcycle, it is much more pleasant for me to take that route.

Right after a particularly dangerous curve, on the left side of the street, is a beautiful home with professional landscaping. However, right in the front yard is a huge boulder, which catches the eye.

New England has a lot of these boulders. Called "Erratics" they were deposited by glaciers during the Last Ice Age. Anyone who purchases a home with an "Erratic" on their lawn is more or less stuck with it, and usually builds a rock garden around it.

Evidently, the stresses of Glacial movement caused this particular Erratic to split right down the middle in a perfect cleft in the rock. It could not have been done more perfectly with a laser! The homeowner has made it into a landscaping feature, because there is no way to remove that big rock.

There are two things that strike me every timeI pass that property.

1. The Rock Shall NOT be Moved.

2. It has been cleft.

Last Wednesday, just as I was about to lead the Congregation in the song, "Rock of Ages", I shared my thoughts about the Big Rock. Most of the people knew exactly which rock I was talking about, because they grew up in the area, and had been seeing that rock all their lives. But now, perhaps, we will all see it a little differently.

Psalm 121 compares God to a mountain, which can not be moved. God does not take a nap when you are trying to reach Him. He is Always there, Always has been there, and will Always be there for you.

3. He will not allow your foot to be moved;
He who keeps you will not slumber.
4. Behold, He who keeps Israel
Shall neither slumber nor sleep.

The Second Song Of Ascents Carries the Famous Line,

"Behold, He who keeps Israel
Shall neither slumber nor sleep.

It Is particularly Musical and Poetic when Sung in Hebrew:

Hinei Lo Yanum V'lo Yeshan Shomer Yisroel.

Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

"He was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification." (Romans 4:25)

God Bless America!

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

This Symbol Represents Christians in The Middle East, who desperately need our Prayers.

Hallelujah and Amen
