Dr. Michael Heiser states in his book “Unseen Realm” that Satan, did not want humanity to be a part of the Heavenly Family for some reason.
Was it because we had bodies created in the image of God, thus producing massive angelic jealousy?
Was it because of how we were made “dirt” making us mud people?
Was it because his role and that of the angelic hierarchy were to be “less” than us and serve us?
Did the creation of humanity spurn Satan’s rebellion?
Or did this happen before?
This is a very interesting topic.
Angels are fascinating.
Reconcile that with this verse:
“Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life!” I Cor. 6:3.
Think again.
My theory is that it was socialism that did him in.
If you look at the differences between socialism and Christianity, they both have the same aim of “goodness” but Christianity achieves goodness through goodwill between men but still allowing people to live their lives, but socialism mandates it’s gooness with oppression and the gun and the expectation is subjugation to the goodness as a way of life.
It would not surprise me if it turned out that he, who wants to be like the Most High, was trying to out goodness God through mandated goodness.

Interesting sounding book. I wonder if Satan only wanted Adam and Eve to join him in misery, or if he thought that if he enlisted these new creatures to his side then he could defeat God after all.
