I think to a certain extent he is right about focusing on international things other than local. The problem is that international donations and missions show fruit. I would guess more people have come to Christ through missions in Africa than in American inner cities...and it’s probably not even remotely close.
The problem isn’t white evangelicals. The problem is politicians who need to keep individuals down.
He focuses on race when the True Body of Christ is united.
If he wants to get real with comparisons, then White Evangelicals have done eons more towards contributing to the Kingdom of Christ than his heretic version of “Word of Faith” movement has done.
Any Evangelical will tell you that going to a foreign nation will produce more fruit than local American evangelization.
For the black race the issue is themselves and their behavior
Something they simply refuse to accept
Jake’s exploits this for money
99% of Christian efforts (money and people) is spent in places where there is a significant Christian presence. 1% goes to those places where the gospel has never been preached. This is not to say that ministry in the US is unimportant, or that we shouldn’t have a heart for the cities. But most American churches are fighting desperately to change the minds of those who have repeatedly rejected Jesus, while they give no effort to making sure that the rest of the world knows who Jesus is.
African churches are now sending missionaries to North America, because they see how apostate American Christianity has become.
And no, I’m not kidding.
