Amen. We ask salvation and renewal of the minds, and pray a heavenly wall of protection for these our grunts, our doughboys (historical), our flyboys (and girls) our Seals, our dogfaces, our coasties, our Sardines, our WACs and our WAVES (historical), and all the medics and nurses and doctors and officers and enlisted in all these.
Even our Ringknockers, dear God.
And let us not forget our Hotshot crews and and the Engineers — “First We Dig’em, and Then We Die In Them”. The Tappers and the Sappers. The Cannon fodder and the snipers. The Chaplains and the Cooks and the Mechanics. The drill sergeants. All sailors, and a special prayer for the Brown Water Navy Vets. The oilers, the firemen and boilermen. The divers, and all drivers. The electronic whizzes of the Space Force, and all the geeks in all branches. The Supply Sergeants and all inventory and accountants.
And the ones still to be mentioned. And their Commander in Chief.
Also, Lord God, we to pray for these Your intercessors and their families, their salvation, their protection, their encouragement, their continued faithfulness to You.
And for those who laid down their lives, let them not have done so in vain. Your will be done.
