#6, the exquisite panel by Ghiberti for the baptismal font in Siena’s Duomo.
#27, the only contribution by Leonardo is the little angel at left, one of the works of a beginner Leonardo. One can see already the mastery he achieved later.
#28, this painting by Cima da Conigliano is considered his greatest achievement. His paintings are elegant, harmonious, projecting calm and peace.
“Verrocchio had already done the main work. Leonardo painted an angel who was holding some garments; and despite his youth, he executed it in such a manner that his angel was far better that the figures painted by Verrocchio. This was the reason why Andrea would never touch colours again, he was so ashamed that a boy understood their use better than he did. ”
Regarding number 27 from an art historian Giorgio Vasari in the 1500s.

A quick glance shows the little angel has an expressive face and a natural, fluid posture. The folds in the clothing show his talent. The whole figure looks better than any of the other figures in the painting, IMO.
