I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.

Dearest Lord, we intercede on behalf of the cultural and political leaders who choose not to restrain, but to exalt the depravity of man.
Lord, if it is Your Will, crush or reform those seeking our destruction.
If the wicked ones in authority are not redeemable, we petition Thee to
Give Us Wisdom And Courage To Be Set Apart.
