Is it 'too late' for America to be spared God's judgment? John MacArthur gives warning

California megachurch Pastor John MacArthur spoke about the possibility that the United States is already under judgment for its acceptance of progressive sexual ethics, among other things, during his Palm Sunday sermon.

MacArthur preached a sermon at Grace Community Church of Sun Valley titled “Chosen in Him,” mainly focused on Mark 12 and the passage commonly known as the Parable of the Vineyard Owner.

The parable speaks of a vineyard owner who allowed tenants to oversee his vineyard, only to have them take control of it and kill everyone the owner sent to collect on what they grew.

“What then will the owner of the vineyard do? He will come and kill those tenants and give the vineyard to others. Haven’t you read this passage of Scripture: ‘The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes?’” concluded the parable, as rendered by the New International Version.

I love John and listen to his sermons at least 5-6 hrs. a day. In fact, I'm listening to him right now. He's great and doesn't hold back on anyone. I was just listening to him about where he said he gets more angry letters from so-called pastors than he does non-Christians. We need more John MacArthur's out there because now more than ever, people need to heat the truth. There are too many squishy churches and church leaders not doing a very good job with their flocks.

Obama was our King Manasseh, who was the last straw for God viv-a-vis Israel because of his evil - judgment was passed. Trump was King Josiah, who got Israel a brief reprieve because of his righteousness. But the judgment has been passed.

That's exactly the same thing I tell people. And if people tell me God can never be this way, that He'll never bring that kind of judgment now, I just tell them to read Ezekiel 14:12-23.

We certainly are.

We have corrupt leadership and are being invaded by foreigners, and are experiencing pestilence.

All these things were God’s judgment on Israel in the past for turning from Him.

He cannot let abortion, homosexuality, and judicial injustice (where the criminal is protected and the victims are victimized yet again by the state). He hates it all and will not t let it go unchecked.
