3And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
6He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
Hey I didn't ask you if you could find a verse that you think might cancel out what I posted...I asked if you trusted God's word in Romans 10...Guess you don't like to deal with Romans 10, eh???
I already told you and your friends that I’m saved by Grace and not by any “works of the law.” But, you don’t believe me. You keep on accusing me. I say I keep God’s commandments and do good works BECAUSE I’m saved. You say that’s being a legalist. I say that’s being a loyalist, to God, out of love to Him. I know what those verses you listed say and I also know what 1 John 2 says and there is no getting around what God calls someone who claims to love him and will not keep his commandments. The word is liar and it comes straight from the lips of Jesus Christ.
