What if you’re 98 years old and minutes away from death, having been baptized decades ago into a legalistic “WORKS” church(that you have been taught was the “ONLY TRUE” church) and are afraid to die because... “I’M AFRAID I HAVEN’T DONE ENOUGH!”
When my mom was in that situation I wanted to scream...”IT IS NOT WHAT YOU HAVE DONE FOR CHRIST! IT IS WHAT CHRIST HAS DONE FOR YOU THAT SAVES YOU!”
Her preachers assured her she had done enough. Now how did they know what ENOUGH is?
As I said earlier...." That, of course, is up to God to decide."
