Brother Andrew was the legendary bible smuggler during the cold war times. Wrote the book “God’s Smuggler”. What struck me while reading the book was when he said it was OK to pray for the death of a leader when they had gotten so evil and depraved.
People (especially Christians) who want to see someone in hell have no idea what eternal punishment really is. If they did, they would never wish anyone to go there. In generations past when people had a better grasp of true Christian charity, even the judges that would condemn murderers and such to death would say, "May God have mercy on your soul."
Also, those who call themselves Christian but are comfortable continuing to hate their enemies because they have been redeemed by our Lord, are living a lie. John the Apostle tells us. "If any one says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from him, that he who loves God should love his brother also." (1 Jn 4:19-21)

when justice is served, I give thanks.
Proverbs 11:10
When it goes well with the righteous, the city rejoices; And when the wicked perish, there is jubilation.
Sorry, I rejoice and laugh and enjoy.
Sue me.
Its never wrong to feel good about justice being delivered, whatever form that takes.
I can honestly say that I, for the most part, don’t hate. Lately I walk the line but don’t think I have crossed it. People who have had near-death experiences say you don’t want to see your worse enemy in Hell. I have held myself back from that thought, barely at times.
LOL. I like the company you put her in.
Rd later.
