It will be the cities against the suburbs, with the suburb dwellers fighting to keep them inside the sh*tholes they created...

It would/will be an interesting battle, with cities controlling transportation hubs.

Cut the railways and blow the overpasses and bridges.... I’ve often thought of how to bring the US to knees and literally not killing anyone this is the easiest way - we will kill ourselves off in the cities and then the President will certainly MAGA.

The cities are full of cool cats. The ones you hear about committing crimes are the exceptions to the rule.

The cities are sophisticated in a different way from the suburbs. We’re practiced in leaving one another alone, unless we’re really needed—kind of like parts of the western U.S.

The rioters destroyed the arts when they destroyed New York City. Dance, the theatre, the fine arts, music—it will never come back to the excellence it had before. But something else still lives on. As Robert Frost once described it, “how to crowd and still be kind.” America is hard to see.
