In this episode, we will meet a 25 year old grad student, who, as a faithful evangelical, felt Catholicism was dead. But during his theological scripture studies, his preconceived biases were challenged, and in search for Truth, studied his way into the Catholic faith!

Like everybody else in this series, today’s guests came home to the Church, with the help of Catholics Come Home and responding to the call of the Holy Spirit.

Why? Because I am no longer part of a church filled with homosexual priests? Why is it that most of the gay men that I have known throughout my life are/were Catholic? No thanks, very thankful that my son was not raised around them. My salvation is not attached to any Church but to the risen Savior, Jesus Christ, who took me from darkness to light and radically changed my life so much that my Catholic family took notice of the change, could not deny what they saw, and also left the Church. No, not sad at all but rejoice daily for being born again, 40 years and counting.

I don’t understand your anger. Did the Lord say to St. Peter that he holds the keys to the kingdom? On Holy Thursday, did the Lord not give his people the gift of the Eucharist and everlasting life? It seems to me that the protestants left the Catholic church when Luther posted his thesis on a tree/door. Now people make up any church they want. Anything goes or not. The Orthodox Church. Look into them. They also believe in the Eucharist. (this I believe is why you are angry, your soul is thursting for the Bread of Life)

Why do you see disagreement with Roman Catholicism as "anger"? I didn't leave the Christian faith, I didn't forsake Jesus Christ when I left Catholicism. Instead, when at 16 years old a kind Sunday School teacher from my grandparent's Baptist church showed me John 10:27-30 and I understood for the first time that salvation is the gift of God, that Jesus has given us eternal life and we shall never perish or be plucked from His hands, I knew I had not been told the truth before as a cradle Catholic. I reject the revisionist history of Christianity that Roman Catholicism has generated. Many of those points you are espousing right here:

• Did the Lord say to St. Peter that he holds the keys to the kingdom? - yes, he did but those "keys" were the gospel and every Apostle as well as every believer since is commissioned to preach that gospel to everyone so they may come to faith in Christ. The "gates of hell" cannot prevail, they cannot hold in those souls that receive the truth.

• On Holy Thursday, did the Lord not give his people the gift of the Eucharist and everlasting life? - I won't quibble with you on the day but Jesus taught a few years before then that He is the Bread of Life and the Water of Life, and all those who believe in Him, who receive Him are eating and drinking His life and holiness into them. On the night before He was crucified, He reminded them that His body was going to be broken for them, that His blood was going to be shed for them and the sins of the world. He said as often as we do this, we do it in remembrance of Him. But to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God— children born not of blood, nor of the desire or will of man, but born of God. (John 1:12,13) Jesus said that those who eat His flesh and drink His blood will never hunger or thirst. Do you still get hungry or thirsty? Did he perhaps mean something more figuratively than literally here? Besides, I DO participate in the remembrance/observance of the Lord's Supper in fellowship with other believers. Do you think that ONLY Catholics can do that?

• It seems to me that the protestants left the Catholic church when Luther posted his thesis on a tree/door. Now people make up any church they want. Anything goes or not. - Luther had good reasons for his objections to what the Catholic church had become and their abuses of Indulgences. But he was not the first nor the only Catholic who tried to reform the church from within. There are numerous books and articles on the causes of the Reformation. I can recommend many to you should you decide to learn more about the reasons. As for "anything goes", there are all kinds of churches out there but the central tenets of the Christian faith have not changed. Some hold to them still while others have fallen away just as we were warned would happen. I'm sure you're not presuming that the Catholic church doesn't have its share of heretics and apostates. Many people here even assert the Pope isn't Catholic anymore yet he is the titular leader of your religion!

• The Orthodox Church. Look into them. They also believe in the Eucharist. (this I believe is why you are angry, your soul is thursting for the Bread of Life) - you know the Orthodox church disagrees with many things the Roman Catholic church teaches, right? They split almost a thousand years ago and that doesn't bother you? They don't teach exactly the same things about the Eucharist.

Again, I am not angry nor do I thirst for the Bread of Life because I still have it. I didn't leave the Christian faith but became a real one and much stronger one. My faith and love for God has grown for over fifty years now and I yearn for the day I will dwell in the House of the Lord forever.

Lest we forget..... . Friends, in today’s Gospel, the chief priests and elders question Jesus: "By what authority are you doing these things? And who gave you this authority?"

The Greek word used for "authority" is most enlightening: exousia. It means, literally, "from the being of." Jesus speaks with the very exousia of God, and therefore, his words effect what they say. He says, "Lazarus, come out!" and the dead man comes out of the tomb. He rebukes the wind and says to the sea, "Be still!" and there is calm. And the night before he dies, he takes bread and says, "This is my body." And what he says is.

Friends, this is the authority of the Church. If we are simply the guardians of one interesting philosophical perspective among many, then we are powerless. If we rely on our own cleverness in argumentation, then we will fail. Our power comes—and this remains a great mystery—only when we speak with the authority of Jesus Christ. Reflect: How and why does Christ pass his authority to the Church?

John in 17:8 says that the 7 hills are the 7 heads of the beast the woman (Jerusalem) sits on) -

hosea 4:11-12 repeats this "...For a spirit of harlotry has led them astray, and they have left their God to play the harlot"

This harlot-city, Jerusalem of 69 AD rode the first beast that arose out of the sea (gentile powers are depicted as arising out of the sea, while jewish powers are depicted as arising out of the land in the book of revelation) -- this is Rome of the 1st century. Jerusalem of 69 AD rides the Roman empire and is ultimately consumed by it

This whore-able city is also

8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

In which city was Our Lord crucified? Jerusalem of the first century, not Rome of the 21st

Jesus talks of eating His body and drinking of His blood - not symbolic. He repeats it over and over again -- but you, MHG, don't have the divine Eucharist, so Jesus asks YOU, MHG Does this eating of My true body in the Eucharist offend you, MHG?

Are you, MHG, one of those who walk away from Christ, deny Jesus' OWN words and walk no more with Jesus? If you deny Jesus' true presence, you are denying Him and walk no more with Him

Babylon started the poly theistic religions with Nimrod, Semiramis, Tammuz, and Thyatira. Whether you call him Isis, Zeus, or Jupiter, doesn't really matter. Each empire had their own gods. Rome just changed Jupiter to Christ, but added Maddona and child, Ishtar is Easter in English, and Tammuz was celebrated on Dec 25th, the winter solstice. Read Eze 8: for these abominations. Verse 14 speaks about the death of Tammuz which was supposed to be reincarnated as Nimrod. and verse 16 speaks of a sunrise service. Semiramis was connected with rabbits and eggs for fertility in the Spring and her and her child were called Madonna and child thousands of years before Christ. Nothing Biblical happened on Easter and Christmas so the RCC brought it from the pagans to keep the Romans happy. Easter and Passover are never the same day.

It's almost 4am so I'll leave it there, but there is a time limit for you to read your Bible and figure this out. Fashion you beliefs closer to a Messianic Jew to get closer to Jesus and what He requires. Jesus was a Jew, lived His life as a Jew, followed all their Laws, customs, and culture, died as a Jew, and sits on His throne in Heaven as the Lion of Judah. Look at the red and purple and the cup of blasphemies. Who does that? Who believes the Eucharist is real flesh and blood? Stop praying and bowing to statues, pictures, icons, Hanks of hair, finger bones, ect. Get the statues off you dashboards and out of your yards. Don't stop at a staue on the sides of the roads. Stop praying to Mary, Peter, Paul, and about 200 other dead people. Jesus is our only Mediator to God according to Paul. It goes on and on and on. It only fits the RCC. Did I mention how many Christians you murdered in 1600 years? Read your history. Its like telling a Mormon to look up Mountain Meadows. It's an eye opener.
