Yep, lefties like the idea of a socialist system because it shifts power to intellectuals and away from the crass moneymakers who drive a capitalist system. That is, socialism rewards the fruitless theorizing of leftists and punishes those who create real value (and therefore wealth) in actual reality. Capitalism exposes the worthlessness of leftists and therefore must be destroyed.

I suppose the fake pope forgot the wars the Catholic Church waged to gain their wealth, the superstitions used to scare peasants into giving what little money they had to the church, or the fact the church is the stingiest charity on the planet.
