In County of Fresno v. Immanuel Schools, (CA Super. Ct., Sept. 15, 2020), a California state trial court judge issued a preliminary injunction ordering a 600-student Christian school near Fresno, CA to cease holding in-person classes as required by state and local COVID-19 orders. The court said in part:
United States Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts has observed in a recent consequential concurring opinion that “[t]he precise question of when restrictions on particular’social activities should be lifted during the pandemic is a dynamic and fact-intensive matter subject to reasonable disagreement. Our Constitution principally entrusts ‘[t]he safety and the health of the people’ to the politically accountable officials of the States ‘to guard and protect.’

The Archbishop SF should go to court too. He protested and led a procession of Catholics asking for the relaxation of the unreasonable restrictions on church services. The response of the city was to make the restrictions even more severe.
Also, I read that a Protestant church in Southern California has been given a $127,000.00 fine for holding indoor church services.
These churches need to sue. This is such a violation of our rights.
