I realize that you reject the Catholic faith and try very hard to show contradictory statements.

In John 6:63, Jesus was not talking about His flesh.

Jesus did not say, “My flesh is of no avail.” He said, “The flesh is of no avail.” There is a rather large difference between the two. No one, it is safe to say, would have believed he meant my flesh avails nothing because he just spent a good portion of this same discourse telling us that his flesh would be “given for the life of the world” (Jn 6:51, cf. 50-58). So to what was he referring? The flesh is a New Testament term often used to describe human nature apart from God’s grace.

So are you saying that the flesh of Jesus is of no avail?

I think that you are confused.

I do hope that you challenge yourself to objectively understand the words of Jesus and then begin to believe in what he taught.

It doesn’t matter if you think He’s talking about His flesh or our flesh.

If His is of no avail, then eating Jesus is not going to help anybody.

If ours is of no avail, then anything we do in the way of religious rituals does nothing.

You didn’t answer my questions either.

I think that you are confused.

It is YOU who are confused...Jesus' flesh is/was of no avail...Jesus died because his flesh was no different than your flesh or my flesh...

Php 3:3  For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

1Pe 1:22  Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
1Pe 1:23  Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
1Pe 1:24  For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:
1Pe 1:25  But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

Hebrews 4:15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.

1 Corinthians 15:39 King James Version

All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.

And don't forget; Jesus has an even BETTER kinda flesh that us other mere humans.

While we hope that you challenge yourself to COMPLETELY OBEY the words of Jesus found in Matthew 23:9
