Salvation is a free gift of God! You can have confidence you are saved.

Be convinced with these 4 biblical truths: 1. Each of us has sinned; 2. God is just, requiring a punishment for sin; 3. But out of love God sent His Son, Jesus Christ who by dying on the cross, provided forgiveness of sins in taking man’s deserved punishment; 4. Therefore, by faith alone in Christ’s sacrifice for our sins and belief in His resurrection, man can gain eternal life. (Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 10:9-10, Romans 3:21-26) Read more at https://teleiosresearch.com/salvation-explanation/.

I have never said salvation is by works.

By claiming that one cannot be saved if they worship on Sunday and not the Sabbath, that’s exactly what you are doing.

BTW, just how are you so sure that what we call Saturday/the seventh day of the week, is REALLY the seventh according to God’s calendar?

Where is the record of Sabbath observances up until the Law that God gave Moses?

And how do you know that someone didn’t lose count some where along the way and that what you call Sabbath observance, isn’t really worshiping on say, the fourth day of creation, which would be what we call Wed?

You are banking on the Gregorian calendar being the gold standard. How do you know it is and that it’s not wrong?

Cause that would mean that you are also worshipping on the wrong day and in that case in a real world of hurt.

calvin ball makes up the rules as you go along - and they get more outrageous every time

Hmmm. It sounds like that is what cults do. I wouldn’t want to name any cults, however. 🤗

Doeth no sin (hamartian ou poiei). Linear present active indicative as in 1Jo_3:4 like hamartanei in 1Jo_3:8. The child of God does not have the habit of sin.

And he cannot sin (kai ou dunatai hamartanein)...The present active infinitive hamartanein can only mean “and he cannot go on sinning,” as is true of hamartanei in 1Jo_3:8 and hamartanōn in 1Jo_3:6. For the aorist subjunctive to commit a sin see hamartēte and hamartēi in 1Jo_2:1. A great deal of false theology has grown out of a misunderstanding of the tense of hamartanein here. Paul has precisely John’s idea in Rom_6:1 epimenōmen tēi hamartiāi (shall we continue in sin, present active linear subjunctive) in contrast with hamartēsōmen in Rom_6:15 (shall we commit a sin, first aorist active subjunctive). Interesting...I certainly defer to your education on the matter but it does create some questions, a couple of which are:

1Jn 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

I get that...Whosoever is born of God doth not go on sinning; for his seed remaineth in him; and he cannot go on sinning, because he is born of God.

1Jn 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

Apparently then this one should read:

Whosoever goes on sinning transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

Seems to me that one sin is the transgression of the law: for sin is the transgression of the law...

Rom 6:11  Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

1Jn 3:5  And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin

So do we give up our sins or does Jesus take them away???
We know that Jesus is sinless...And we also know that Jesus lives within each Christian...So that is why this verse makes very good sense to me...

1Jn 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

How could we sin with Jesus inside us and in him is no sin??? 1Jn 3:6  Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

So you may say this verse should be translated to:

Whosoever abideth in him can't go on sinning: whosoever goes on sinning hath not seen him, neither known him.

Apparently then, after one receives Jesus Christ he can and will continue to sin, for a while...But not too long...But how long???

And yet at the judgment seat of Jesus Christ we will not be judged for our sins...They will be burned up...We will only receive rewards at that judgment...

And then what do we do with these: ???

Rom_4:8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.
2Co 5:19  To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
2Co 5:21  For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

I can understand correcting the bible with advanced Greek language knowledge; but what do we do with the rest of these scriptures???

John6:53-54; Matthew 26:26-28; Luke 22:14-20; 1 Cor 10:16-17

Typical believer in their own opinion without understanding God’s Truth. One who attempts to use a verse (or several) to suggest a position while ignoring other key parts of scripture.

You don’t believe or accept many of the teachings of Jesus Christ, specifically that Jesus clearly gave us His Body and Blood (Real Presence) as a supernatural gift for our salvation.

That fact that you reject Jesus and His Church, you attempt to prove your false understanding by misdirection.

Your suggestion of faith alone provides salvation is not biblical and was not taught by Jesus and His Apostles.

I hope that you will be given an opportunity to see your soul so that you will truly understand faith in God.

We don’t follow protestant fallible false opinion that ignores reason and misunderstands this teaching from Jesus.

It is probable that you called your parents “Father” and “Mother”. Did you sin?

If you are alive just before the second coming of Christ, most pre trib believers will receive the Mark of the Beast, because they will be looking for a fantasy escape from this earth and there won’t be any.

I do not subscribe to the pre trib rapture, and believe that the rapture is the "resurrection of the just," the "first resurrection," which the 1,000 year reign of Christ follows and in which the saints reign under and with Christ. But which millennial reign of the Lord Rome wrongly rejects.

However, in opposing this error you fail to given credit to whom credit (blame) is partly due:

“Another suggestion traces the influence to a Jesuit priest, Manuel Lacunza (1731-1801), who was born in Chile but came to Italy in 1767 where he would spend the rest of his life. Posing as a converted Jew (under the pseudonym Juan Josafat Ben Ezra), he wrote, in Spanish, a large apocalyptic work entitled The Coming of the Messiah in Glory and Majesty. The book appeared first in 1811, 10 years after his death. http://www.americancatholic.org/Newsletters/CU/ac1005.asp

Another influence is said to be a Jesuit priest named Francisco Ribera (1537–1591) was a Spanish Jesuit theologian, identified with the Futurist Christian eschatological view.

“In the Dictionary of Premillennial Theology (1997) it is said that Ribera was an Augustinian amillennialist, who may have revived a “mild” form of futurism.[1] His interpretation was then followed by Robert Bellarmine and Thomas Malvenda.[2]

Thomas Brightman, in particular, writing in the early 17th century as an English Protestant, contested Ribera’s views. He argued that the Catholic use of the Vulgate had withheld commentary from the Book of Revelation, and then provided an interpretation avoiding the connection with the Papacy put forward in the historicist point of view.” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manuel_Lacunza

Ribera “in the days of the Reformation, first taught that all the events in the book of Revelation were to take place literally during the three and a half years reign of the antichrist way down at the end of the age.” http://www.theologue.org/Theory-JPEby.html (Protestant source, which gives the most lengthy explanation).

There is no getting around that. Keeping Sunday, when YOU KNOW THE TRUTH, and I’ve told all of you, is bowing to the authority of the Catholic Church.

That is more absurd than arguing that since the Scribes and Pharisees recognized a body of inspired Scripture as authoritative, then 1st century souls should have submitted to all their judgments. And here we have a Truth of Scripture that Catholicism does recognize, but the fact that either the Jews or Catholicism recognizes something that is taught in Scripture simply does not mean that those who believe Scripture and concur with Catholicism on this are "bowing to the authority of the Catholic Church." Which you can only wish was the case. For the only specific day Scripture mentions NT church meeting on is the first day, https://www.bible.ca/H-sunday.htm .

The DAYS did not change; only the DATES did.

The calendar was a revision of the Julian calendar and had two aspects.[Note 1] It shortened the average (calendar) year by 0.0075 days to stop the drift of the calendar with respect to the equinoxes.[3] To deal with the drift since the Julian calendar was fixed, the date was advanced 10 days; Thursday 4 October 1582 was followed by Friday 15 October 1582.[Note 2] There was continuity in the cycle of weekdays and the Anno Domini calendar era.[Note 3]

Sorry; but we've SEEN countless times on FR that YOUR church states that it is Jesus' MOTHER who should REALLY get all of the honor!!

The 15 promises

(Given to St. Dominic and Blessed Alan de la Roche)

1 Whoever shall faithfully serve me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall receive powerful graces.
2. I promise my special protection and the greatest graces to all those who shall recite the Rosary.
3. The Rosary shall be a powerful armor against hell, it will destroy vice, decrease sin, and defeat heresies
4. It will cause virtue and good works to flourish; it will obtain for souls the abundant mercy of God; it will withdraw the hearts of people from the love of the world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire of eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.
5. The soul which recommends itself to me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall not perish.
6. Whoever shall recite the Rosary devoutly, applying Himself to the consideration of its Sacred Mysteries shall never be conquered by misfortune. God will not chastise Him in His justice, he shall not perish by an unprovided death; if he be just, he shall remain in the grace of God, and become worthy of eternal life.
7. Whoever shall have a true devotion for the Rosary shall not die without the Sacraments of the Church.
8. Those who are faithful to recite the Rosary shall have during their life and at their death the light of God and the plentitude of His graces; at the moment of death they shall participate in the merits of the Saints in Paradise.
9. I  shall deliver from purgatory those who have been devoted to the Rosary.
10. The faithful children of the Rosary shall merit a high degree of glory in Heaven.
11. You shall obtain all you ask of me by the recitation of the Rosary.
12. All those who propagate the Holy Rosary shall be aided by me in their necessities.
13. I  have obtained from my Divine Son that all the advocates of the Rosary shall have for intercessors the entire celestial court during their life and at the hour of death
14. All who recite the Rosary are my children, and brothers and sisters of my only Son, Jesus Christ.
15. Devotion of my Rosary is a great sign of predestination.

"The Most Holy Virgin in these last times in which we live has given a new efficacy to the recitation of the Rosary to such an extent that there is no problem,

no matter how difficult it is, wheter temporal or above all spiritual, in the personal life of each one of us, of our families...that cannot be solved by the Rosary.

There is no problem, I tell you, no matter how difficult it is, that we cannot resolve by the prayer of the Holy Rosary."

Many Christians believe that when they die; they’ll be ushered into the presence of GOD. Daniel was told something else:

Daniel 12:13
“As for you, go your way till the end. You will rest, and then at the end of the days you will rise to receive your allotted inheritance.”
