“ So you reject God’s Truth.

No, I reject your faux truth that perverts the Gospel of Grace that saves.

I reject the paganism Rome added to Christianity.

What I accept is Christ - and in entrusting myself to Him, assurance Olof salvation, His imputed righteousness, and His shatter inheritance.

It doesn’t matter if you think He’s talking about His flesh or our flesh.

If His is of no avail, then eating Jesus is not going to help anybody.

If ours is of no avail, then anything we do in the way of religious rituals does nothing.

You didn’t answer my questions either.

So are you saying that the flesh of Jesus is of no avail?
I think that you are confused.

It is YOU who are confused...Jesus' flesh is/was of no avail...Jesus died because his flesh was no different than your flesh or my flesh...

Php 3:3  For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

1Pe 1:22  Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
1Pe 1:23  Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
1Pe 1:24  For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:
1Pe 1:25  But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

Just your personal uninformed fallible opinion based on not understanding God’s Truth.

God's truth for us comes from the scriptures alone while God's truth for you comes from your religion just as the way the izlamaniacs and Mormons get their God's truth...

The wisdom of one who does not accept the Word of God and rejects that Christ’s flesh was given to us as a supernatural gift of the Eucharist and with His suffering on the Cross.

I can see that you quote scripture like Satan does but can’t explain that Christ’s flesh is of no avail?

Jesus flesh is human and divine. So you are saying that Christ’s suffering on the cross was of no avail and His death and resurrection did not conquer death and Satan?

You pretend to be a believer in Christ on your terms not on God’s revealed Truth. You equated your flesh as the same as God’s flesh?

Your questions arsie because you do not know what being Born Again is, to the soul and spirit. The soul, which is the behavior mechanism interfacing with the body, is not born again when one is born again in the instant they believe on Whom God has sent for their salvation. It is the spirit that instant which is born again, by the power of The Word of God which separates the sinful soul from the born again spirit. And you might ask “So what then?” well, 1 John 3, especially verse 9 is your answer; God abides in the born again spirit. The behavior mechanism can be then transformed by the renewing of the mind of the sinful soul, as the newborn yields to the GENTLE PRESENCE of the abiding GOD LIFE in the newborn spirit.

There are three tenses to Salvation by Grace Alone.

FIRST you must be born again. This is the moment GOD JUSTIFIES you because you believe in Whim He sent for your salvation. This is by grace alone so that Christ Alone is due the glory for the gift of Salavation of your spirit.

SECOND is SANCTUFICATION. This is where you appear confused. The sanctifying 'process' is the transforming of the soul --not the soul-- as you repent of your sinfulness and GOD abiding in your born again Justified spirit directs change.

At the Departure of the body of all believers in Jesus as The One Who saved our spirit from the state of deadness to righteousness, at that moment, in the twinkling of an eye, GOD will put our newborn spirit into a new body with a new behavior mechanism written upon our spirit for eternal living in a real physical body. That moment is the third tense of salvation, the GLORIFICATION of the newborns in the Body of Christ *as in the collective student body of a college*.

Repenting of your sinful self is how The Word of God separates soul and spirit; you are made aware of your sinful state of spiritual deadness BY THE WORD OF GOD which is sharper than any two-edged sword, able to separate soul and spirit ... my sinful self is repugnant to my newborn spirit, so I yield to a new director. Repentance is an ongoing process whereby God transforms the behavior mechanism by the renewing of the mind as we yield to His abiding Presence in our born again spirit.

Oops, nearly blind and in a hurry on this device: "The sanctifying 'process' is the transforming of the soul --not the spirit--"; the spirit has God Life abiding therein as a newborn in Christ.

Ad sum cannot allow his/her mind to see that Jesus was referring to the amen amen statement regarding His flesh as profiting nothing if actually eaten. We know that He was referencing that seeming conflicting assertion because of the immediate contrast He gave to the words He had spoken as spirit and life. But to maintain the blasphemy of the magic pedophile priesthood of homosexuals supported by the Roman religion, the adherents are taught to not see the clear meaning of what Jesus said to those who remained with Him.

You are profoundly confused.

I could stack my credentials as a deacon and Bible Class teacher over the last 40 years as evidence that I know the plan of salvation far better than you, but it's clear that it's time to shake the dust of my feet when it comes to explaining the simplicity of it to you.

Have any last words you want to have. And have a blessed day.

Your 'credentials' notwithstanding, you just exhibited why you are profoundly confused. The simplicity is real and it does not include works by you or me to keep GOD abiding in the born again spirit. IT IS GOD doing it all, to His glory not yours.

The transforming of the mind of the soul DOES require constant, daily, vigilant participation by each of us, but our degree of participation does not impact the Truth that it is GOD WHO abides in the born again spirit.

1 John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.KJV

1 John 2:9 Whosoever is born of God does not commit sin; for His nature remains in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.KJ2000

1 John 3:9 every one who hath been begotten of God, sin he doth not, because His seed (God's Seed, God Life) in him doth remain, and he is not able to sin, because of God he hath been begotten.

Where is His seed in the born again?... In the spirit, not the behavior mechanism/soul and body/the flesh. And that is why John writes that the born again CANNOT sin, for God does not abide where there is sin. The behavior mechanism can and does sin, but not the born again spirit. The Word of God has separated the soul and spirit in the born again experience of JUSTIFICATION.

I have written these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life. (I John 5:12,13)

That may work for Prots; but us Catholics have a LOT more hoops to jump thru!

You must add to your faith hearing, repenting, believing, confessing, baptism and following Christ as a disciple.

Acts 15    Version 1.6

The Council at Fresno...
1 Certain Catholics came from all across the world to FreeRepublic and were trying to convince the believers: "Unless you are Catechized, according to the custom taught by Rome, you cannot be saved." 2 This brought Elsie and Metmom ETAL into sharp dispute and debate with them. So Elsie and Metmom were appointed, along with some other believers, to lurk on FR to see the  Catholics and NON about this question. 3 The Holy Spirit sent them on their way, and as they traveled through the Religion Forum, they told how the NON-Catholics had been converted. This news made all the Protestants very glad. 4 When they came to FR, they were scorned by members of the ONE TRUE church, to whom they reported everything God had done through them.

5 Then some of the believers who belonged to the party of the Catholics stood up and said, "The Protestants must be baptisted correctly and required to keep the laws of Rome!"

6 The posters met to consider this question. 7 After much discussion, Metmom got up and addressed them: "Brothers, you know that some time ago God made a choice among you that the Protestants might hear from our fingers the message of the gospel and believe. 8 God, who knows the heart, showed that he accepted them by giving the Holy Spirit to them, just as he did to us. 9 He did not discriminate between us and them, for he purified their hearts by faith. 10 Now then, why do you try to test God by putting on the necks of Protestants a yoke that neither we nor our ancestors have been able to bear? 11 No! We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are."

12 The whole of FR became silent (Yeah; THAT's gonna happen!) as they listened to Elsie and Metmom telling about the signs and wonders God had done among the Protestants. 13 When they finished, Boatbums spoke up. "Brothers," she said, "listen to me. 14 MGHinTN has described to us how God first intervened to choose a people for his name from the Gentiles. 15 The words of the prophets are in agreement with this, as it is written:

16 "'After this I will return
   and rebuild Rome's fallen tent.
Its ruins I will rebuild,
   and I will restore it,
17 that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord,
even all the Protestants who bear my name,
says the Lord, who does these things'
18 things known from long ago.

19 "It is my judgment, therefore, that we should not make it difficult for the Protestants who are turning to God. 20 Instead we should write to them, telling them to abstain from vision and apparations, from Brown Scapulas, from the endless repetitions of the ROSARY and from so-called blood. 21 For the laws of Rome has been preached in every city from the earliest times and is read in the sanctuaries on every Sunday."

The Council's Letter to Gentile Believers
22 Then the posters and lurkers, with the whole church, decided to choose some of their own men and send them to Fresno with Mark17 and Tennessee Nana. They chose Daniel1212 (called Wise) and eagleone, and Luircin,  Mark17;  as well as aMorePerfectUnion; folks who were leaders among the believers. 23 With them they sent the following letter:

The apostles and elders, your brothers,

To the Gentile believers in Antioch, Syria and Cilicia:

   Greetings.

24 We have heard that some went out from us without our authorization and disturbed you, troubling your minds by what they said. 25 So we all agreed to choose some men and send them to you with our dear friends Barnabas and Paul— 26 men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. 27 Therefore we are sending Judas and Silas to confirm by word of mouth what we are writing. 28It seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us not to burden you with anything beyond the following requirements: 29 You are to abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of strangled animals and from sexual immorality. You will do well to avoid these things.

   Farewell.

30 So the men were sent off and continued to post on FR, where they gathered the people together and delivered the GOSPEL. 31 The people (most all except ebb tide, piusv, Salvation; Steelfish;  Mrs. Don-o, Vlademir998 and RichardMoore and af_vet_1981 ) read it and were glad for its encouraging message.

Why do you need to misrepresent the words of Jesus as He instituted the Sacrament of the Eucharist?

Why do you flagrantly disobey Christ by calling men father?

Jesus did not say, “My flesh is of no avail.” He said, “The flesh is of no avail.” There is a rather large difference between the two.

Hebrews 4:15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.

1 Corinthians 15:39 King James Version

All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.

And don't forget; Jesus has an even BETTER kinda flesh that us other mere humans.
