Be convinced with these 4 biblical truths: 1. Each of us has sinned; 2. God is just, requiring a punishment for sin; 3. But out of love God sent His Son, Jesus Christ who by dying on the cross, provided forgiveness of sins in taking mans deserved punishment; 4. Therefore, by faith alone in Christs sacrifice for our sins and belief in His resurrection, man can gain eternal life. (Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 10:9-10, Romans 3:21-26) Read more at https://teleiosresearch.com/salvation-explanation/.
Therefore, by faith alone in Christs sacrifice ...

I know I’m posting to a bot and bots do not reply. But as I’ve posted before - you are posting FALSE DOCTRINE.
Basing itself on Scripture and Tradition, the Catholic Church teaches that the Church, a pilgrim now on earth, is necessary for salvation: the one Christ is the mediator and the way of salvation; he is present to us in his body which is the Church. He himself explicitly asserted the necessity of faith and baptism, and thereby affirmed at the same time the necessity of the Church which men enter through baptism as through a door. Hence they could not be saved who, knowing that the Catholic Church was founded as necessary by God through Christ, would refuse either to enter it or to remain in it. (CCC 846)
He who believes and is baptized will be saved. (Mk 16:16)
Unless you repent you will all likewise perish. (Lk 13:3)
He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. (Jn 6:54)
Since Jesus established the Catholic Church as necessary for salvation, those who knowingly and willingly reject him or his Church cannot be saved. We see this in Jesus teaching: He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters (Mt 12:30). Also: [I]f he [a sinning brother] refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector (Mt 18:17). Paul warned similarly: As for a man who is factious, after admonishing him once or twice, have nothing more to do with him, knowing that such a person is perverted and sinful; he is self-condemned (Ti 3:10-11).
The Church recognizes that God does not condemn those who are innocently ignorant of the truth about his offer of salvation. Regarding the doctrine in question, the Catechism of the Catholic Church (quoting Vatican II document Lumen Gentium, 16) states:
This affirmation is not aimed at those who, through no fault of their own, do not know Christ and his Church: Those who, through no fault of their own, do not know the Gospel of Christ or his Church, but who nevertheless seek God with a sincere heart, and, moved by grace, try in their actions to do his will as they know it through the dictates of their consciencethose too may achieve eternal salvation. (CCC 847)

As we have seen, God introduced salvation to the world through his chosen people, the Jews. Gods revelation to the Jews found its fulfillment in Christ, the Messiah, who established the Catholic Church. The grace necessary for salvation continues to come from Christ, through his Church. Those who innocently do not know and embrace this might still attain salvation but those who knowingly and willingly choose to reject it, reject salvation on Gods terms.
We care what Christ teaches not what the Roman church teaches. I would think you have enough to do addressing the idolatrous pachamamma worshipping pope and the radical homosexual clergy in your own denomination to lecture us protestants
Billions upon billions of eternities is a very long time to reflect on the cost of rejecting sound doctrine in favor of what some priest tells you, or some council, or some corrupted bible version.
All of the sin account is settled forever in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:1-4).
And during the course of those eternities, the witness of the truth will never depart from your memory. You will see posts like this from 7/24/2020 at 10:57 A.M. over and over again.
While you and I disagree with Papist dogma, ADSUM is right in pointing ‘faith only’ doctrine is indeed false theology.
Catholics don’t believe it. Neither do Protestants.
Well you should because we’re the first Christians are are charged with promoting the gospel. Where do you think your denomination even got the Bible or the faith?
Or what a rebellious Protestant who out of hand rejects anything Catholic.
What is it that God elevates even above His own name? The Bible or the Catholic church?
Hint:
“I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name (Psalms 138:2).
That is even above the name of Jesus Christ.
Then many are following their own word or man’s fallible false opinion and not the teaching of Jesus Christ through His Catholic Church.
Yes there are sinners in the Catholic Church and they will be held accountable just as everyone else.So you feel that there are greater sinners in the Catholic Church so you reject the Catholic faith because of sinners?
You should be concerned whether what you have been taught and believe is God’s Truth.
your interpretation. The Roman church and its heresies did not exist for centuries after Christ.
I know what I have been taught and believe is Gods Truth. It is contained within His Word
The way and what you believe may be wrong and contrary to what Jesus taught us.
I am so grateful that the Holy Spirit dropped the scales from my eyes and got me out of the Church of Rome.
Be assured that you are a gift from God!!!! I hope surgery went well.
That pertains to sanctification, not justification.
Amen, Gods glory and promises are getting to be rarely seen on this website. Argue away, but American Christians are getting lukewarm and becoming lovers of this world.
