Be convinced with these 4 biblical truths: 1. Each of us has sinned; 2. God is just, requiring a punishment for sin; 3. But out of love God sent His Son, Jesus Christ who by dying on the cross, provided forgiveness of sins in taking man’s deserved punishment; 4. Therefore, by faith alone in Christ’s sacrifice for our sins and belief in His resurrection, man can gain eternal life. (Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 10:9-10, Romans 3:21-26) Read more at https://teleiosresearch.com/salvation-explanation/.

Our bodies will die, but our souls may have life in Heaven or no life in Hell.

If there's no life in hell, why bother being a Christian, or Catholic??? Is the bible a fairy tale to just you or your entire Church???

Um, so what happens to a Christian if they do continue in sin?

Can you point to a Christian who does not willingly continue to sin???

God says the wages of sin is death (not hell)...

God gives us the answer to your question in 1 Cor. 5:5...

1Co 5:1  It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.
1Co 5:2  And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.

1Co 5:5  To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

The bible says to shun the sinner and and his flesh/body may be turned over to Satan for the destruction of the body, YET the person will still be saved...

Why don't you know that???

Does this verse mean anything at all to you???

Rom_4:8  Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

I guess you are reading with the protestant glasses of denial and rejecting a true understanding of the Lord’s Prayer.

The Lord’s Prayer

We should desire the glory and honor of God as the first intention of our prayer, no matter what we may be praying for. Thus, we pray that God’s name be honored and held holy. Then we pray that his will be done as perfectly among us on earth as his angels accomplish it in his heavenly kingdom. There would be no point in praying unless we wanted God’s will to be done. Nothing would be ultimately helpful to us if it were against his will, even if it is what we wanted.

Then, after these universal intentions—for God’s glory and for his will—we pray for the things we need in order to glorify him and be united to him. “Our daily bread” means all that we need to serve him here and now: first of all, his supernatural gift of his Body in the Holy Eucharist, and then the necessities of life we need each day.

Thus far, the prayer is all about positive things: God’s glory and his gifts to us. But there are also obstacles to his glory and his gifts. These are our sins and other people’s sins against us. We need God’s forgiveness for our ungratefulness in sinning, especially when we are in the act of asking him for good things, and of course we have to be willing to forgive others if we ourselves want to be forgiven.

I realize that Satan works real hard to convince protestants to believe the lies about God’s Truth.

God loves you and wants you to accept His Truth in love. As Jesus told us we need food for the soul.

Revelation 21: 7He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

1Jn_5:4  For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
1Jn_5:5  Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

We as Christians have overcometh already...Here's some good scripture...

Rom 8:9  But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

If the Spirit of God dwells in us, we have definitely overcome...

Rom 8:10  And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
Rom 8:11  But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

And if that Spirit lives in us, we are permanently sealed unto the day of redemption...

Obviously you can quote scripture, but lack understanding of God’s Truth.

No, you are rejecting and trying to ignore the words of Jesus. I realize some protestants are consumed by the lies of Satan.

Reread John Chapter 6 “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you; he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life; and I will raise him up on the last day.”

Jesus told us that if you don’t eat His Body and Blood, then there is no life in you.

But if he meant physically, he didn't provide a way for us to do that...When the unbelieving followers of his left him they knew there was no way anyone could literally eat his body and drink his blood...But what they didn't get was the spiritual application as Jesus well noted...Just as the Catholics don't get the spiritual application...

Those followers thought Jesus was a little wacko...Catholics on the other hand took another approach...They invented a remarkable story that has no basis in scripture and convinced people that they were under life long bondage to that religion by telling them their babies would go to hell if they died unless they were baptized into the Catholic religion at birth...

And of course when this crazy story was conceived, the rank and file were not allowed to see the scripture for themselves to know they were being lied to...

But hey, God told people to eat a lot of things...

Rev 10:9  And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.

Jer 15:16  Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.

Psa 19:9  The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
Psa 19:10  More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

Eze 3:1  Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel.
Eze 3:2  So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll.
Eze 3:3  And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.

Why didn't your Church invent scenarios where these things could be eaten as well???

Tell that to any Christian practicing homosexuality and willfully continuing in that sin. So, I beg to differ. The bible clearly says you are wrong as I’ve recently pointed out a few posts ago.

Jesus told us that if you don’t eat His Body and Blood, then there is no life in you.

Your comment: “But if he meant physically, he didn’t provide a way for us to do that.”

Jesus provided His Body and Blood in the Eucharist at the Last Supper and through His Catholic Church. Perhaps you are familiar with Jesus meeting two men on the road yo Emmaus where he shared a meal which reflects the Eucharistic liturgy, where Jesus gives himself to the church in word and sacrament in the breaking of the bread. Luke 24:30

The protestants can’t accept this key teaching of Jesus just like the Jews rejected it. They can’t provide the Real Presence of Christ because they rejected Christ’s Catholic Church.

Why do you follow the lies of man and Satan?

You continue to make outrageous lies about the Catholic faith. You should be aware of Sins against the Holy Spirit. They are mortal sins that harden a soul by its rejection of the Holy Spirit. Six sins are in this category. They are despair, presumption, envy, obstinacy in sin, final impenitence, and deliberate resistance to the known truth.

John 10:30 “I and the Father are one”

God the Father send Jesus to this earth.

Every appearance of God in the OT was Jesus, and that includes delivering the 10 commandments to Moses and the Israelites. No one has ever seen the Father, not even MHGinTN.

John 1:18

John 6:45-47

The poster is a follower of ms white of the Seventh Day Adventist cult. A cult trained mind cannot grasp the reaches of The Grace of God in Christ. The meaning of 1John 3:9 is beyond their comprehension. ---------------------------------------------------

1 John 3:9 (SDA Bible Commentary)

Whosoever. Again the apostle uses this comprehensive term (cf. on John 3:16; 1 John 3:4, 6). What he says applies to all who are “born of God.” Born of God. See on ch. 2:29. But here, unlike ch. 2:29, there is no doubt that the writer is speaking of being born of the Father. John is the only NT author to speak of our being “begotten,” or “born of God” (John 1:13; 1 John 4:7; 5:1, 4, 18). The form of the Greek verb shows that he is referring to those who have been born of God and continue to be His children. He thus includes every Christian who has not returned to the world and thus denied the Lord who redeemed him.

Doth not commit sin. That is, he does not continue to sin, or he does not habitually sin (see on v. 6; the form of the Greek verb here is the same as it is there). The apostle thus characterizes those who have been born of God. They have experienced the new birth, their natures and changed, and they resemble their heavenly Father (see on John 3:3–5; 1 John 3:1). They hate the sin they used to love, and love the virtue they used to despise (see on Rom. 6:2, 6; 7:14, 15). Such people do not continue slaves to their old sins, they do not habitually commit their old mistakes. Divine power has given them the victory over those weaknesses, and is ready to aid them in overcoming other faults of which they may not previously have been aware.

His seed. That is, God’s seed, “the divine principle of life” (Vincent), which, implanted in a sinner, brings the new man to birth and produces the Christian. This divine “seed” abides in the truly converted man, ensures him spiritual energy, and enables him successfully to resist sin. John thus gives God the credit for the Christian’s sinlessness. Because the divine power operates in his soul, the Christian does not continue to sin.

Cannot sin. Or, “is not able to go on sinning,” or “is not able to go on habitually sinning.” This does not mean that the Christian is incapable of committing a wrong act. If he were unable to sin, there would be no virtue in his being without sin, and there would be no true development of character. John has already implied that he will make occasional mistakes (see on ch. 2:1). The passage means that, having been born of God, and having God’s life-giving power dwelling in him, he cannot continue his old pattern of habitual sin. He now follows the sinless ideals that have been implanted in his soul by the new birth

YOU ASK FORGIVENESS, then go and sin no more (try not to).

The woman in this story did NOT 'ask for forgiveness'.
