I was 75% deaf until I was 7 years old when I had my hearing restored. I learned how to “read” people as a deaf child. By being deaf, I did learn different ways of hearing, besides audio.

Yea, I understand. I took issue with that, too. However, I find it very "Biblical" with all the calls for return of the Jews to Israel as the rest of the world turns against them and blames them for the woes of the world.

That is the first time that I ever heard of autism is any but a negative way.
I wonder what the mental mechanism is for that.
