Well I and many of my acquaintances think we’re “true student(s)” of the Bible but none of us have ever heard of these people. And what is the need for “commentaries” anyway if the doctrine of Sola Scriptura is true? Isn’t simply reading the Bible sufficient and making an altar call sufficient to save my soul?
