What does God say?

To Reject as you do, MHG, Jesus' words that clearly state in His teaching to Nicodemus that you must be baptised of water and spirit you must be born of water and the Spirit - and remember that after this Jesus and His disciples went into the land of Judea; there He remained with them and baptised - in other words, when Jesus said that we must be "born again", what he meant was baptism

This continues in John 4:1-2 when the Dispciples baptise people at jesus' comman.

What does Chapter 13 say?

Apoc 13:1-3 --> he see's a beast rising out of the sea -- a gentile "beast" as it comes from the sea, the fourth beast as per Daniel - so the Roman empire. The worship of the beast was about the emperor worship

Apoc 13:5-10 - the beast has authority for 42 months - the exact time period of the first Jewish-Roman war, at the end of which the 2nd temple was destroyed as Jesus prophesied in the Olivet discourse and the book of Apocalypse describes

Apoc 13:11-15 -- another beast "which rose out of the earth" with two horns "like a lamb" -- since it comes from the land, it is the local Judaean authorities. This is also the "false prophet"

Then 13:16 -- like the beast "like a satanic parody of the lamb' you have the mark of the beast as a satanic parody of the sealing of the saints in Apocalypse 7

The mark of the beast as on their palm and to their foreheads (touched coin to the foreheads) is of the image of Nero

Did you ever watch The World Tomorrow program?

Last week’s program about the Mark of the Beast spoke to your comments about the Sabbath and I thought it might be of interest to you.

I think they are correct about the Mark of the Beast and that many, many of us now wear the mark, so what is it?

Believe what you will about the Sabbath, which day it is or how we should honor it, but make certain you are biblically clear with yourself. It’s very important.

And, I think you would benefit from more study about changes to the Sabbath day and its importance to the Father and to our salvation, also.

The official day we Christians observe the Sabbath has been changed to the 1st day of the week and there is no justification for it.

Quotes from the Tomorrow’s World broadcast Mark of the Beast:

Even the Roman Catholic Church admits that the ONLY day set apart by God in the Bible is the SEVENTH-DAY SABBATH and that NOWHERE does God’s word set apart SUNDAY. As the Catholic Press noted as far back as August 25, 1900:

“Sunday is a Catholic institution, and its claims to observance can be defended only on Catholic principles.… From beginning to end of Scripture there is not a single passage that warrants the transfer of weekly public worship from the last day of the week to the first” (Catholic Press, August 25, 1900).

To be declared “anathema” is to be declared under curse! Such sentiments WILL happen again! And those who will not submit to the Beast by worshiping on the day of the SUN instead of the seventh-day Sabbath will be banned from buying or selling goods and PERSECUTED by the Beast!

If you would read the Revelation of John you would notice that the mark of the beast isn't even revealed or commanded until the Beast is imbued with power. The antichrist has not been revealed yet and The Departure has not occurred yet. We are not in the tribulation explained to John.

I have read it and the rest of the Bible, too. Regarding Rev. 14:9-10, from that program:

The Mark of the Beast is not at all what most people think—AND it is already WIDELY PRESENT in the world. God says in Revelation 14:10 that He will pour out His full wrath on those who have this mark.

Now this, itself, is a VITAL CLUE about the mark’s identity, as the Bible makes plain that those who receive God’s wrath are called “...the sons of DISOBEDIENCE.”

The Mark of the Beast is related to disobeying God’s commands. Those who claim that things like the U.S. Social Security Number are the Mark of the Beast are unable to demonstrate how such a thing disobeys God. Which of God’s Ten Commandments are broken by being assigned a Social Security Number? None. The mark is of personal DISOBEDIENCE.

Where does God put His Mark? Hand and between the eyes signifying ...?

And where is the mark of the beast?

The same places, replacing His Mark with Satan’s own mark of disobedience on our forehead/what we think and right hand/what we do.

My best guess is about being a Child of God with full benefits, per what is written in the Bible?

It’s a good idea to live in such a way as to keep His Commandments as He sees them, not as we have rationalized changing them.

Especially the 4th Commandment ... the one we changed.
