If you live long enough remember that someone warned you to not accept that mark of the beast. Just don’t take it.
And this is apt for someone who just cherry-picks instead of reading the Bible
What does Chapter 13 say?
Apoc 13:1-3 --> he see's a beast rising out of the sea -- a gentile "beast" as it comes from the sea, the fourth beast as per Daniel - so the Roman empire. The worship of the beast was about the emperor worship
Apoc 13:5-10 - the beast has authority for 42 months - the exact time period of the first Jewish-Roman war, at the end of which the 2nd temple was destroyed as Jesus prophesied in the Olivet discourse and the book of Apocalypse describes
Apoc 13:11-15 -- another beast "which rose out of the earth" with two horns "like a lamb" -- since it comes from the land, it is the local Judaean authorities. This is also the "false prophet"
Then 13:16 -- like the beast "like a satanic parody of the lamb' you have the mark of the beast as a satanic parody of the sealing of the saints in Apocalypse 7
The mark of the beast as on their palm and to their foreheads (touched coin to the foreheads) is of the image of Nero
