It takes a certain type of person to put themselves at great risk by breaking up violence between others.

Agreed. It takes moral fiber, a brain and a sense of justice and some compassion for those abused by evil.

I can’t argue with that, but that normal person is a rare breed these days. Most of them just stand around with phones pointed at you.

However, I think it should be noted that the normal person also has to be a fighter.

If a normal person came along and attempted to intervene, but is not a fighter, great harm or worse could befall that person.

I think the normal person that could have made a positive difference here is a very rare person.
