What are you talking about?

Read the Bible please - no pre-Trib rap. Jesus will come in His second coming once, not in stages

You do have it! The difference between The Body of Christ and the rest of the world is the Presence of God's Holy Spirit in the believers. Paul tells us it is God Who is in you both to will and to do of His great pleasure. Paul tells us we are bought with a price so we are no longer our own, we are OWNED By God as attested by His Holy Spirit Seal upon our newly alive human spirit. Paul also shows us that we are not appointed to wrath (the Wrath of GOD) but are appointed to salvation. In the first chapter of Paul's letter to the Believers (the church in Thessalonika) we read as just an aside:

9 For people keep telling us what kind of welcome you gave us and how you turned away from idols to serve a living and true God 10 and to wait for his Son whom he raised from the dead to come back from heaven. This Jesus is the one who rescues us from the coming wrath.

The reality of the Rapture of the Body of ALL BELEIVERS and thus the snatching away of all alive spirits because of HIS SPirit within them wi;; end the Age of the Grace of God in Christ. God will be turning His attention to Israe during the following seven years, fulfilling the seventieth week of Daiel's Prophecy. The Holy Spirit will usher a number to Heaven during the seven years of God's wrath, a number so large John could not number it! And he could count to atleast 200,000,000 for the unbelieving army which comes against Israel and Jerusalem during the Greta Tribulation portion).

Not really — look at the biblical verses above — the Bible reject the pre-Trib rap philosophy

No...the biggest threat to Christianity is the false teaching that there are things you have to do besides have faith in Christ, and only Christ, for your salvation.

Many of these are found in Roman Catholicism.

We can start with the false idol of the Brown Scapular which wrongly promises the wearer they will avoid the eternal fire IF they wear the idol correctly and do certain things.

Do you wear one of these?

The Gospel wasn’t “invented” until the first century?

1 Thessalonians 5:9 NKJV

“For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, 10who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.”

The tribulation faced by believers now is via Satan, his minions, and the sin of the world. The Great Tribulation in Revelation is God’s wrath.

Agreed, Brother/Sister! we are not appointed to wrath.

Here is a subtle reason we will be removed before the wrath of God begins upon the earth dwellers:

During the Age of The building of the Ekklesia (the true body of all believers since Pentecost): during the Church Age we believers are supposed to be the witness of God's Grace to all who will believe in Whom God sent; during the tribulation period, the focus is upon the Jews and their witness of His coming Kingdom Age, a topic they are too familiar with since they have the prophecies showing a suffering Messiah then a conquering King Messiah at the end of the Great Tribulation.

The Jews will be evangelizing when the gentile believers (and any Jewish believers in the Body of Christ) are removed from the planet to go to the Father's House and await the return to Earth with Christ the conquering King Messiah.

As I said, The pre-Trib Rapture is not part of the Christian Faith. Despite its popularity among U.S. Christians, the belief has no basis in Scripture and directly contradicts two millennia of Christianity teaching stating how in the last days, the Church will share Christ’s Passion in an intense way, and then at His return, His Resurrection.

In 1 Thessalonians, Paul says nothing about the believers being raptured away so as to escape persecution Instead, those translated directly from earthly existence to glory are those who are “alive,” who are “left.”

Read within its historical context, Paul is probably likening the Lord’s return to that of a victorious general. As the conqueror returned to Rome, he would stop outside the city, and wait for his family to be brought to him. Once his entourage was fully assembled they would enter the city together, amidst fanfare and celebration.

In Matthew 24, who is taken? it is the unrighteous! “As [in] the days of Noah,…the flood came and swept them all away.”

in Jesus’ example it is the righteous who are “left behind.” Jesus gave a similar description earlier in Matthew

The creation of the entire pre-Trib rapturist 19th century belief system — as the author points out — is Satanic in nature.

The Pre-Trib tries to deny Christ’s words and also distort’s Daniel who very clearly prophesises the time up to Christ — Christ is the rock uncut by human hands that shatters the iron-clay Roman Empire.

Then the uncut rock becomes a mountain that covers the entire earth - Christianity.

Daniel’s prophecy very clearly, very, very clearly talks about the THEN coming destruction of Jerusalem after it was rebuilt.

The 70 odd years from Christ’s birth to the destruction of the 2nd Temple, the 40 years (one generation) from the time Jesus says “THIS generation “ will see the destruction of the temple.

“Belief in a pre-tribulational rapture . . . contradicts all three chapters in the New Testament that mention the tribulation and the rapture together (Mark 13:24–27; Matt. 24:26–31; 2 Thess. 2:1–12). . . . The theory is so biblically bankrupt that the usual defense is made using three passages that do not even mention a tribulation (John 14:3; 1 Thess. 4:17; 1 Cor. 15:52). These are important passages, but they have not had one word to say about a pre-tribulational rapture. . . . Pre-tribulationism is biblically bankrupt and does not know it” (The Word of Truth, 556–7).

That’s by Dale moody for you

IIRC I posted to you on another thread beliefs of the ECFs on this issue. They seem to contradict your position IIRC.

And as a lay Roman Catholic, who are you to express any opinion on what the Scriptures mean. You have no training. You're not a priest. You can't even understand the Scriptures based on what your fellow Roman Catholics have told us on these threads.

G Larry Rapture wasn’t INVENTED until 1830.

philetus The Gospel wasn’t “invented” until the first century?

Err.. Philetus - why are you saying the Gospel was invented?

And the Rap philosophy is 19th century made-up fiction, like the Jehovah's witnesses or Mormons.

The Gospel isn't - so don't compare the fictional pre-trib rap to the Gospels

Revelation was written significantly after the fall of Jerusalem.

We don't know that, actually. It's based on one line from Irenaeus which is ambiguous. It could mean that John wrote Revelation around AD 90. It could also mean that John -- the John who wrote Revelation -- was still living in AD 90.

Revelation makes a lot more sense if you view it in a partial-preterist framework, as a lot of scholars both Catholic and Protestant have taught.

Agreed, the church the bride of Christ is taken and God is dealing with Israel, hence the 144,000 Jewish evangelist and theTwo Witnesses performing OT miracles. Matt 24 is to Israel. When you see the abomination of desolation flee — only can be Israel. Sure people from every nation and tongue are saved during this time. but it is God bring Israel to the point they will nationally say Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the LORD and they will weep for the past 2000+ years of rejecting their Messiah and King. Christ will bring in His Kingdom on earth to his promised people and all nations will bring worship to the King in Jerusalem.
