"It shows that what was SAID was the SAME as what was WRITTEN."

No, the verse states that transmission by oral means is on the same level of authority as transmission by written means.

But your comment is typical of the obfuscation constantly engaged in by Protestants (and I would know, as I started my faith journey as a Protestant).

There is no assurance that "Scripture" has it more accurate than "Tradition". The idea that it does is simply an invention out of thin air by Protestants, and was held by NO ONE until Luther appeared on the scene, a millennium and a half after the fact.

Here is a logic test.....St. Paul initiates a doctrine in his verbal teaching. When does that doctrine become authoritative?? Months or years later when someone writes it down, or immediately on the words leaving his mouth??

there are lots of claims that T is more important than S. Especially when T is not found in S.

That isn’t logic at all

Paul was not a Saint until Rome capitalized him.

So now Protestants deny that Paul was a saint?? I hadn't realized things had deteriorated in the Protestant world to that extent....and here I thought Catholics had it bad.

Joking aside, your comment is exactly the type of verbal equivocation by Protestants that simply disgusts me. You and I are DONE!.

I see your problem. You lump all “Lutheran” synods together when in fact,, the LCMS has NOTHING in common, except the word “Lutheran” with the extremely liberal, ELCA.. They are neither Lutheran or Christian.
