your assertion Mary was given to everyone.
That was not the
assertion. This is the second posting error (the first was posts 879 and 888 where it reads
"Mary is not anyone's mother except for Jesus and His brothers and sister." and
"she was given only to John." respectively) These are
mutually exclusive statements.
The
assertion is that Blessed Mary/Miriam is a mother to disciples that Jesus loves. As the Eucharist is
not to everyone (although it could potentially be up to some point), so it is with the mother of "God With Us."
