The word Adam does have more than one meaning. For instance, 120 in the same Concordance means a human being (an individual or the species, mankind, etc.):X another, + hypocrite, + common sort, X low, man (mean, of low degree), person.
Meaning 121 of Adam taken from the same Concordance means name of the first man, also of a place in Palestine.
The word Adam is also the root word for the color red and for the word soil or earth. This makes perfect sense since the Scriptures tell us that God created a human (remember not a man but a human) from the dust of the ground. - red is the colour of blood
Adam was not a white European
And similarly the northern Israelites would be light brown - like modern day Syrians/Iraqis
All of the 'meanings' of that word 'the Adam' fit him to a T. Might want to did a bit deeper and find out exactly how that word Adam was given too Moses.... What seems to be overlooked, is how closely the Heavenly Father monitored the bloodline to Christ. That is what the Old Testament is about HIS story, generation to generation and how many times attempts were made to destroy that line. I was raised to 'believe' the Garden Party took place in an apple orchard ... shocked, I tell you when I read for myself what was Written, and not one word about an 'apple orchard', but, instead the party took place in a 'fig' grove...
I take seriously the command : Deuteronomy 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you. and
Repeated again in Revelation 22:18-19 18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
It is nearly impossible to find a 'church' that keeps that commandment.
