Yes, I think you put your finger on it. He's being very careful in his choice of words here. I think he's saying that nuns are / were abusing other nuns. Basically we knew that gays utterly corrupted the priesthood, now it's confirmed they destroyed the convent too.
I once saw lesbian nuns on the Phil Donahue show. Just saying, that years ago, people knew they were out there.
And they were abused by priests. You don’t need to abort babies if your being abused by a mother superior. There’s plenty of testimony out there from former nuns who went through these things....and it’s not just a couple.
