Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano released another communique regarding the ongoing homosexual scandal in the Church and the Vatican’s continued failure to combat it. Abp. Vigano properly identifies the current crisis in the Church as the “plague of homosexuality in the clergy.” Abp. Vigano said in his latest public address, “This is a crisis due to the plague of homosexuality, in those who practice it, in its motions, in its resistance to being corrected.”
Abp. Vigano also addressed the criticisms he received from Cdl. Oulette after his last public statement indicated that Cdl. Oulette could confirm Abp. Vigano’s testimony that then Cardinal McCarrick had restrictions imposed upon him by Pope Benedict. While Cdl. Oulette denies having any documentation to affirm this, Abp. Vigano stands by his original statement.

Pederasty is defined as sex between a male adult, and a male child. Do you have any statistical or other evidence to support your claim that it is more common among school teachers than among the priesthood?
That's the problem. Let's say you're a religious man, but inclined to homosexuality -- even pederasty. Celibacy is one way that such a person might attempt to suppress such urges, and that can make the priesthood attractive.
The problem is if the attempt to suppress such urges with religious faith doesn't succeed....

I worked in a juvenile corrections system for a long time and I can assure you that teenage boys do indeed experiment with sex willingly. They may be reluctant to suggest it, but they are easy prey for anyone, male or female, that does so....
This "plague" is nothing new in society. All that has changed is some people have been convinced (coerced) into accepting this abnormal behavior as perfectly normal and even healthy. Of course, God has already commanded mankind on that subject and He calls such things abominations and forbidden. So it doesn't really matter what man decides is or isn't right or moral. There is no denying (with the benefit of hindsight) that homosexuals and their acceptance have worked to destroy the moral fabric of society and the family unit. Nothing good has resulted - just as God has told us. There is NO excuse for a church hierarchy to allow known homosexuals to continue in ministry. That the Roman Catholic church has permitted it and hidden it is deplorable and their chickens have come home to roost.
