PRAYER
Holy God,
You continue to reveal the depth of evil within the ‘swamp’ of our federal, state, and local governments. Multiple agencies and levels of government officials have used their office for selfish gain and political agendas. We are reminded that you are always with us in every struggle where no solution is seen and every problem appears to have no answer. It is in you God that we trust to: refocus, reclaim, and restore our national soul.
You have Blessed this nation by appointing the strong leadership of President Trump and Vice President Pence. Enable this Trump Administration to remove the political ‘deep-state’ that continues to obstruct your good will for our nation. We pray this week that the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh as Supreme Court Justice be accomplished. Protect him, his family as well as the other Supreme Court justices from harm.
Holy God, You alone know the hearts and souls of men. In this coming mid-term election, we pray for moral, ethical congressional leaders, as well as state officials, to be chosen that are committed to work for the ‘general welfare’ of our citizens.
Continue to bring healing to our nation. Stop the divisive partisanship of the main stream media that promotes political agendas while pitting one political group against another damaging the unity of our people. We pray in Jesus name. Amen.

Lord Jesus,
We again come before you asking that you surround the Kavanough family with a hedge of thorns. Keep them safe and secure by the power and love of your name and sustain them as they endure this fiery trial of faith.
We pray for those who seek harm and destruction against this administration, that their eyes would be opened to see the error of their ways and to turn from them. ....and to turn to you as the God and Savior of our nation.
