You weren’t rude.

At least I didn’t see it that way.

No problem.

Have a good night.

So Hindus can be made Free Masons or what? I searched and it seems like they can, at least from a quick internet search.

These Mason posts have been making me think of Catholics- male hierarchy with lots of mysterious symbols and rituals and a medieval flair, and odd costumes. And very secretive at the higher levels.

Why ask her for “evidence” of what cannot be proved or seen?

Metmom, trust your instincts. I believe you have a very keen intuition on this. There is much that is disturbing.

If I recall, the Catholic Order of Albino Assassin Monks are obligated by their blood vows to slay any Mason they discover.

Tis so with this country’s government, but it doesn’t work that way with God and his word. You don’t get to pick and choose. If you choose to follow him you follow it all his word, otherwise you are just another non-believer destined for damnation.

Did you see the link I posted in post 62?

I have another one I found that goes a little more into the history of Free Masonry at the inception of our country.

I can PM if you’d like.

Good night, in the meantime.

Taking oaths is NOT allegorical.
These oaths you take lightly?

Masons don’t take oaths. They take obligations. Common misconception. An obligation is a promise to act in a certain way. Nothing wrong with that - you could never hold public office, get married, or join the military without it. An oath is swearing by xyz that something is true. The swearing of oaths is unbiblical, but God himself has made obligations. Of course the actual obligations are not posted on the link you posted, since that could possibly show Masons in a positive light, and well agenda-driven people can’t have that.

The obligations are not taken lightly. Everyone, mason or not, should live by the principles therein. But the “punishments” are of course symbolic. Heck, the word “symbolically” is right in them in most places. When administering them, I would always made sure I gave the word “symbolically” all by itself for emphasis. Besides, if they weren’t symbolic, you’d have an awful lot of dead people around since the secrets are pretty available online, eh?

Yeah, I guess they can.

I read their history of Masonry in India and it seems they are very much eligible

Yeah, I think the Masons are a pretty universal outfit, there seems to be lodges pretty much everywhere. Outright atheists might be the only ones they won’t accept as members maybe?

The Shrine is a big drinking club. The whole thing is social. Many trades people are Shriner. They like to party They really have no redeeming value except they send the money to their centers for burned and cripple children. That is good but I will tell you that is not what they are about. Its about big parties, Dont let anyone “kid” you. I think they are fading away very fast as my generation subsides. Ill bet they are gone in 15 years.

I've found that's true of many clubs. Eagles and even the American legion. The big draw is cheap booze and friends.

Has anyone ever visited to George Washington Masonic Memorial Museum in Alexandria Virginia.?

A beautiful, educational place. Most floors are open to the public.

Yes, the father of our country and our first President was a Mason. .

Do you have first hand experience?

Mason’s are anything but a satanic cult.

Educate yourself.

After I got saved from Hell by Jesus, by His kindness, through believing in Him, ...

About a year after He saved me, I saw this video series. Then I read enough of Albert Pike’s Masonic encyclopedia to convince myself that I needed to renounce my membership in a Masonic - related organization.
