Sorry to disappoint; but I don't 'correct' as much as I lay out what I find that is pertinent in the Book and let readers draw their own conclusions.
I say this because many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist
The Word does NOT give any details on what 'coming in the flesh' actually means.
Seems like a lot of us in this thread are trying to do that and then being baffled when others do not see quite the same way; even after much explanation.
Having done a lot of research on the N.A.R. and their false prophets, I can say that Rick Joyner has written that Jesus died on the Cross as a “spirit”.
That’s what John was warning about.
See, if Christ did not die an actual physical death in His humanity on the Cross, there is no hope for us, because this means that there was not real Resurrection from the Dead.
If there Christ did not really die on the Cross, then He was not really raised from the Dead, and there was not miracle: then we are all dead in our sins.
This is why deceivers lie about the event, and say that Christ was just a spirit when He died on the cross.
