I have been doing this exercise for a few decades. The Lord has brought some into His family through it. I trust Him to give the advice, to your human soul via His Holy Spirit whispering to you in the exchanges. It is all His and ONLY He deserves the credit if you get born again.

Not exactly. All souls conceived have erternal existence. Not all have eternal life.
There are three kinds of life: physical, spiritual, and eternal
o Physical life means union of soul, spirit, and body in one functioning, self-perpetuated unit.
o Spiritual life is communication of a human's mind and spirit with The God's mind and spirit, with a felicity of fellowship conferred on the union.
o Eternal life is the existence in perpetuity of the human tripartite person in God's realm of Heaven of absolute life without death being present, and creativity and renewal having dominion.
There are three kinds of death:
o Physical death is separation o the soul and spirit from the earthly body.
o Spiritual death is the separation and lack of communication of man's spirit and mind with God's spirit and mind, as well as separation from the dead spirits of other humans, resulting in spiritual isolation and absence of any kind of fellowship, with only one's shortcomings to contemplate, never to be revised.
o Eternal death is the prolonged suffering of a human's mind and spirit in a body too painful to ever have rest, and upon which is inflicted the agony of the Lake of Fire, augmented by the addition of death and hell into it, with not a moment to rest or create any alternative. There is no unity of thought or principle or design there, only destruction.
Not everyone receives eternal life, Els, although annihilation is not an alternative option either, as far as I can deter,ine from the Bible.

Please don’t insult the meaning of “syllogism” by claiming a logical process in your Post #568. There is nothing present but “reasonings”—figments of your imagination—which is a pejorative use of rational thinking to attain an illogical conclusion.
That is what I was told, when I was a catholic. I was such a horrible, terrible, incorrigible, rebellious, independent minded catholic, however, that I picked a Bible, and started reading it, and interpreting it for myself, just to spite them. 😊 Oh the horror of it all. That’s when I became a YOPIOS kind of guy, and left that religion, once and for all. 👍

However, in 1 Jn. 2:15 John shows (as compared to the immediately previous verse), as do other writers, that The God Whose Spirit created in us a newly born child in the spirit is our Heavenly Father, Whose Title of "Father" is reserved for Him Only, as He is The Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which no human ought to appropriate for himself, and which should not be used for that person as an honorary title, nor for that matter should the title "Reverend": "He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: (H)holy and (R)everend is (H)is name(title)" (Ps._111:9 AV; my capitalization and superscript).
When Jesus said this:
"And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven" (Mt. 23:9 AV).
I believe this is in the same sense, that one should not accord a religious luminary the title "Father," which is reserved only for our Heavenly Father. That does not mean that one ought not call his/her earthly progenitor the familiar respectful term "father."
If I were to corral a person and convince him/her of the need for a Savior, see that one become a disciple, and lead him/her in that way to the stage of spiritual young adulthood in that he/she had practically overcome wickedness in their lifestyle, I might think of myself as that one's spiritual father and he(she) a "Timothy" and be thought of as such. But it would be wrong to permit the title "Father" to be even thought of, let alone assumed.
That would be a bit over the top, eh?
How about the little medals they hang from their rear-view mirrors? Mariolatry?
