The spectacular claims you make here without a shred of proof are yours. I have no confidence in your credibility whatsoever.
I pray that you and your six five pals can find peace from your own personal demons and discover a way to let go of the twisted obsession with your misconceptions and false beliefs.
May the Peace of Christ Jesus be with you and remain with you

And elsewhere in Pauls letters, Ephesians 2 to be specific, Paul yet again emphasizes that works do NOT grant salvation. And you cant even argue that he means of the Law because he doesnt use those words. Is this the same Ephesians that says:
5:3 Immorality or any impurity or greed must not even be mentioned among you, as is fitting among holy ones, 4 no obscenity or silly or suggestive talk, which is out of place, but instead, thanksgiving. 5 Be sure of this, that no immoral or impure or greedy person, that is, an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 6 Let no one deceive you with empty arguments, for because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the disobedient.

This from one who falsely posts an incorrect list of the Ten Commandments in his scorecard.

Salvation CANNOT come through the law. No one says that it comes through the law. It comes through faith in Jesus Christ. But it can be lost through sin, as Paul warns.
To: Petrosius
No one says that it comes through the law. It comes through faith in Jesus Christ. But it can be lost through sin, as Paul warns. Not if you believe the believer is sealed by the Holy Spirit.
No where is the believer ever noted to be unsealed.
To: ealgeone
No where is the believer ever noted to be unsealed. Except where Paul warns that those who remain in sin will not inherit the kingdom of God. Pesky words those. You cannot just swat them away.
To: Petrosius
No. The NT never records the believer being unsealed. No where.
To: ealgeone
Your personal claim that it is false does not make it so. It has been explained to you but you refuse to accept it. That is not my error it is yours.

Then post your version of the Ten Commamdments alongside the Ten Commandments from the Bible. There is a noticeable difference.
Yours is the false one.
To: ealgeone
I have a better idea. How about you and your
six five pals put together a few councils, come up with a decalog, a concise statement of faith and some basic guidelines for the faithful to abide by that you can all agree on.
Take your time you've got 2000 years.

I’m not sure I understand what you’re trying to get at then.
Are you trying to attack the strawman that claims that Protestants don’t preach good works?

I’m surprised that you didn’t end with ‘NO U’ because that’s exactly what you did.
Really pathetic, but kind of what I’ve come to expect.

I didnt think youd expose your false listing of the Ten Commandments as compared to the actual Ten Commandments. Lies always fall away when exposed to the Truth of the Word.
To: Luircin
Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain. Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Purgatory?... Show the scripture verses which establish this Catholic mythos, please. BTW, is the Blood of Christ not sufficient to cleanse from all sin? Which sins would GOD not know about the moment you confess your faith in Jesus as the One God sent for your redemption?
As a Catholic, will you have what Jesus could not cleanse removed in Purgatory? ... And have you not heard that diligence to the Rosary and Mary will save you from that mythical place? Or, you could wear Brown Scapulae ...

To: Petrosius
Those who remain in sin were not saved and have no Holy Spirit in their dead human spirit by which to grow in grace and knowledge. The more you argue the more it become evident that you are arguing for a works based means to keep something that God gives upon faith in Whom He sent. You are arguing that a man can be born from above, receive the Holy Spirit of Promise then defeat God’s Grace. PAUL Never taught this. He also NEVER taught that one must then earn back the Spirit of Promise.

Those that remain in sin have not been cleansed and born again. Do we born from above ones still sin. Occasionally. But blessed is the man whose sins God will not impute to him.

So you refuse to answer the question of whether you can obey God perfectly. Yeah, I figured as much.
Let me answer it for you then.
As the Apostle says, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
So no. No, you CAN’T obey God’s law enough to earn life.
Instead, as the Apostle says: “...and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins.”
In other words, you Catholics preach contradictory to Holy Scripture by adding works to that GIFT.
And all your parroting of Romanist propaganda about what non-Catholics believe won’t change that.

So you refuse ...
For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey. Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents. And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two. But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money. After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them. His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed: And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine. His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury. Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents. For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
