Some history: James White criticizes David Wood for Islamicize me, but White DID commend Wood for Wood’s testimony:

Evaluate the whole situation IN CONTEXT.
What David Wood, Vocab Malone, and John McCray are doing will help get Muslims to leave Islam. I don’t think anything James White does will have the same impact.
James did a great job. I like David Woods, but agree with James here. A few leaders from my church had dinner with James last year and I got to know him a bit. He has a real heart for Muslims. I think some of what David does is unseemly for a Christian. He doesn’t understand that God is sovereign in salvation. We can’t shock people into His kingdom.
IMHO, I’d rather get saved by Jesus than simply leave a false religion.

I understand, but what you’re ignoring or forgetting or didn’t know is that - according to many people who work with Muslims in missionary work - conversion to Christ is extremely rare unless the Muslims have first discovered that their Islamic faith is false. In most conversions, the Muslim comes to realize the Qur’an is false, that Muhammad is a false prophet, or some other important point BEFORE they come to believe Christ is God.
