Very, very glad to read that!

Glad to hear your prayers were answered!

Praise God.
Happy for you and your wife ... such relief!!
Wow, bad typo on my part. I assure everyone, I certainly DO NOT wish cancer on anyone
Praying you get the same kind of great news!!!
God is good! Enjoy your Summer plans...
So happy for you:) I was watching this thread...it has happened to me twice.
I have had 2 fibroadenomas. The first scared the crap out of me...had a “lump”, went for a mammogram, then they immediately did an ultrasound (not a good sign). Of course, they tell you nothing.
A few hours later, I was called by my regular Doctor’s office and given a time for an appointment with an Oncologist!! No explanation whatsoever. I was in tears, & asked the nurse to have the Doc call me; which he did (fortunately not much later).
He apologized profusely. The report that they received was that it was likely a benign tumor, but that it was probably a good idea to remove it before it increased in size. So, I went, had the needle biopsy (and metal clip:); then the surgery to remove the fibro. Was awake most of the time under light sedation; not much pain & small incision.
Why they would EVER call and just say “you need to see an Oncologist” without explaining the situation is beyond me. Just cruel and panic-inducing.
I know the relief that you feel quite well...have a fun Summer:)
“Why they would EVER call and just say you need to see an Oncologist without explaining the situation...?”
Similar situation — “Why would they...?”
Had my annual mammagram. Got a call a few hours later to come in and get another one “tomorrow”. I wasn’t worried as that had happened four or five times in the past. Usually cysts.
In 2012 I even had a needle biopsy but it was only calcification.
2014. “Come in tomorrow for another mammogram.” I did. After it was over they told me to wait in the waiting room until the radiologist had reviewed the picture. He came out and blurted out, “Breast cancer is no longer a death sentence.” Huh? Subtle. Why would he say that in that way?
My PCP referred me to a surgeon who did a needle biopsy, and it was cancer. I had a single mastectomy, but no chemo or radiation. It was caught so early that it was extremely small. Equipment for early detection is so amazing now.
FWIW, it others are in this situation, I didn’t go the reconstruction / implant route, but I regret that; I should’ve done it.
Wow!!!
Such good news :)))))
My wife had cancer but they operated and got all of it. I will ALWAYS remember how I felt when the doctor reported she was cancer-free.
Blessings on all of you.
Thank God!
Wonderful news! So very happy for your family - thank you Lord!
Very good news and thank God.
Oh, laus Deo!
Just some clarification.
It’s actually jmaroneps37’s wife that is newly found to be cancer free, although a few years ago it was me in his shoes. Almost the same result but the doctor didn’t say carcinoma but wouldn’t say what she thought specifically other then scheduling surgery for the next week.
Praise God for His Mercy.

Baruch HaShem!
I felt a lump 5 weeks ago. Went to Dr who sent me to a surgeon and within 2 weeks I had to have my left breast removed - it was malignant but had not spread. Two weeks ago today and I know I serve a Risen God who answered prayers. Ladies and gentlemen (tell your wife) to self examine and go to the Dr immediately. Don’t let them send you for a mammogram, see a surgeon, regardless of your age.
