I looked it up. The survival rate for babies born at 22 weeks is from 0 to 10%. And those that do survive have a very high chance of being disabled.

So the math says let them die. And that’s probably what a court would rule. But there is a higher law, one that says all life is sacred. I would have let that higher law guide me if I had been there.

I would never torture a small being with the things that they do to try to save them, they just are to young to live.

Which came first - the chicken or the egg? IOW - is the survival rate so low because the babies are so underdeveloped they can't survive or is it low because they make the assumption, as these doctors did, that the babies will die and don't even bother to try to save them?

Who should die depends on who is in charge of the math.
